I started building websites by accident.
Let me explain.

The Agency
Albert Einstein once said, “The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.”
Back in 2021, I had no idea what UX/UI meant, or that domains and hosting were totally different things—I was learning everything as I went. But with some late nights, lots of coffee, and pure stubbornness, I built three full websites with real features like user logins and subscription payments… and landed a job offer right as the New Year’s ball dropped.

Freelance
So I took the leap. Same kind of work, building websites, but now I was doing it solo. I went from “uh, how does this work?” to running full meetings on my own and delivering entire projects. It was a journey, trust me.

Never Happened
Honestly? I don’t even know what happened that year. I think I bought… something? Maybe a plant? Maybe a hoodie?

Let’s Go Gambling (aka Starting a Business)
The biggest gamble I ever made wasn’t at a roulette table (shocking, I know). It was starting OADev.
Turns out, building a business isn’t just about having a service. You need branding. Fonts. Colours. A whole identity beyond just a logo. Who knew?
But while figuring all that out, I got to work on some really cool projects. I even had the chance to teach kids the basics of Computer Science, probably one of the most rewarding things I’ve done so far.

What Now?
Honestly, not much has happened.
I’ve built a few more websites. Oh, and I landed 4th *Product of the Day* on Product Hunt for a tool I made to solve a personal pain point… which turned out to help a bunch of other people too. Now, I want to make more tools. The year’s not over yet, so here are some goals I’m chasing:
- Build 5 ready-to-go website templates
- Hit 1st Product of the Day on Product Hunt
- Launch a web app with 1000+ monthly users
- Drop 30lbs (yes, I’m tracking this too)
The Method to My Madness
Here's how I approach building your website. Each step is crucial to ensure the final product is exactly what you need. Let's break it down:
First things first, I need to know what you want. What do you stand for? What do you offer? I know these questions sound simple, but they're key to helping me figure out what you really need.
Even though code can always be rewritten, that doesn't mean we shouldn't do some planning. Before anything is built, we need to have the design ready (don't worry, I got it covered). This design will be based on the requirements we set in our discovery call.
Just like building a building… wait, hold on… why is building spelled like that? The second building, I mean. Like, why isn't it just a build or built? Anyway, this is where I'll actually build the website using NextJS and style it with TailwindCSS.
So the code for your website is done. Okay… now what? Do we just say, "Hey, it only works on my computer"? Absolutely not. I need to get your site hosted and connected to your domain.
All you'll need to do is hop on a quick send-off meeting with me, where I'll hook up your domain and walk you through how to update information on your website.
Oh… you don't want to change anything yourself?
Well, do I have some great news for you…
